The competition sees combined teams from the Gamekeeping and the Hospitality departments of Scotland’s three rural colleges compete in heats to procure, prepare and cook meals from game produce.
Students from Borders College, SRUC Elmwood and North Highland College compete between each other to win a place in the competition final. The winners are presented with their title at an annual Celebration of Scottish Game dinner.
Unfortunately, the competition has not run in the last two years due to Covid 19 restrictions, but it is hoped to resurrect it in the future.
